Afghanistan receives first commercial cargo from Uzbekistan after change of government
Afghanistan received the first commercial cargo from Uzbekistan after the Taliban came to power.
This was reported by the Pajhwok agency, citing a statement from the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The cargo was delivered on two trains.
Currently, the Taliban have not yet announced a final decision on the future political structure of the country, reports TASS.
However, the leadership of the CCI has already met with representatives of the movement. During the meeting, entrepreneurs drew the Taliban's attention to the existing problems in the field of trade, including closed banks, problems with customs clearance of goods, as well as concerns of Afghan entrepreneurs about the security situation.
In turn, the Taliban promised to work out solutions to the aforementioned problems as soon as possible.
