Health Ministry reports 648 COVID-19, 71 pneumonia cases
On September 3, 648 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 71 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 159,209 (+648).
Reportedly, 243 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 65 – in Karakalpakstan, 21 – in Andijan, 12 – in Bukhara, 18 – in Jizzakh, 11 – in Kashkadarya, 10 – in Navoi, 18 – in Namangan, 49 – in Samarkand, 15 – in Syrdarya, 14 – in Surkhandarya, 52 – in Fergana, 14 – in Khorezm and 106 – in Tashkent region.
7 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,106.
As of September 3, the number of recovered stands at 151,067 (+717).
Also, 71 people tested positive for pneumonia on Friday, bringing the total number of cases to 24,339. According to the Ministry of Health, 223 of them recovered yesterday (17,269 in total).
4 pneumonia patients died on September 3, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 184.
