Health Ministry reports 660 COVID-19, 138 pneumonia cases
On September 7, 660 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 138 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 161,768 (+660).
Reportedly, 237 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 48 – in Karakalpakstan, 18 – in Andijan, 17 – in Bukhara, 21 – in Jizzakh, 14 – in Kashkadarya, 5 – in Navoi, 17 – in Namangan, 62 – in Samarkand, 15 – in Syrdarya, 14 – in Surkhandarya, 58 – in Fergana, 18 – in Khorezm and 116 – in Tashkent region.
7 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,132.
As of September 7, the number of recovered stands at 153,651 (+713).
Also, 138 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 24,821. According to the Ministry of Health, 302 of them recovered yesterday (18,321 in total).
4 pneumonia patients died on September 7, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 196.
