Total registered coronavirus cases surpass 162 thousand in Uzbekistan
On September 9, 687 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 159 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 162,421 (+687).
Reportedly, 251 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 72 – in Karakalpakstan, 20 – in Andijan, 11 – in Bukhara, 15 – in Jizzakh, 10 – in Kashkadarya, 7 – in Navoi, 16 – in Namangan, 69 – in Samarkand, 17 – in Syrdarya, 13 – in Surkhandarya, 63 – in Fergana, 14 – in Khorezm and 109 – in Tashkent region.
5 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,142.
As of September 9, the number of recovered stands at 155,114 (+740).
Also, 159 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 25,115. According to the Ministry of Health, 329 of them recovered yesterday (18,955 in total).
2 pneumonia patients died on September 9, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 200.
