Coronavirus cases surpass 167 thousand in Uzbekistan
On September 16, 624 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 133 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 167,268 (+624).
Reportedly, 216 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 65 – in Karakalpakstan, 15 – in Andijan, 9 – in Bukhara, 14 – in Jizzakh, 5 – in Kashkadarya, 6 – in Navoi, 17 – in Namangan, 51 – in Samarkand, 10 – in Syrdarya, 18 – in Surkhandarya, 56 – in Fergana, 19 – in Khorezm and 123 – in Tashkent region.
4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,179.
As of September 16, the number of recovered stands at 160,421 (+977).
Also, 133 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 25,956. According to the Ministry of Health, 525 of them recovered yesterday (21,297 in total).
1 pneumonia patients died on September 16, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 211.
