Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover amounts to $25 billion in Jan-Aug 2021

The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $25 billion in January-August 2021, the State Statistics Committee reported.

During the reporting period, exports amounted to $9.3 billion. Of these, the export of products was $7.7 billion and services - $1.6 billion.

According to the committee, $15.7 billion was spent on imports. $14.7 billion worth of products and $1.0 billion worth of services were imported.

The balance of trade showed a negative trend - $6.4 billion.
