“Your impartiality is important in covering the elections” – President meets with media representatives

In the Bozatov district, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with media representatives and stressed the need for journalists to cover today’s events objectively. In the run-up to these elections, he stressed the importance of every citizen making a voluntary choice.

“Five years ago, most of you never imagined today’s freedom of speech. We have seen good and bad days with you over the past period. You are touring the country with me and by yourself,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The President also stressed that the impartiality of the media is very important.

“I will be grateful to you if you interpret everything fairly. The Election Day is coming, and your impartiality is very important,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
