Coronavirus and pneumonia: Over 600 new infection cases reported over the day
On September 21, 522 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 103 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 169,989 (+522).
Reportedly, 212 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 59 – in Karakalpakstan, 6 – in Andijan, 5 – in Bukhara, 10 – in Jizzakh, 4 – in Kashkadarya, 5 – in Navoi, 6 – in Namangan, 47 – in Samarkand, 15 – in Syrdarya, 11 – in Surkhandarya, 22 – in Fergana, 8 – in Khorezm and 112 – in Tashkent region.
6 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,203.
As of September 21, the number of recovered stands at 163,985 (+687).
Also, 103 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 26,469. According to the Ministry of Health, 415 of them recovered yesterday (23,553 in total).
2 pneumonia patients died on September 21, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 219.
