Coronavirus: Daily cases drop below 500 on Sept 29
On September 29, 486 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 64 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 173,895 (+486).
Reportedly, 209 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 21 – in Karakalpakstan, 12 – in Andijan, 8 – in Bukhara, 9 – in Jizzakh, 5 – in Kashkadarya, 6 – in Navoi, 14 – in Namangan, 41 – in Samarkand, 12 – in Syrdarya, 16 – in Surkhandarya, 33 – in Fergana, 13 – in Khorezm and 87 – in Tashkent region.
5 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,239.
As of September 29, the number of recovered stands at 168,875 (+516).
Also, 64 people tested positive for pneumonia on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 27,148. According to the Ministry of Health, 51 of them recovered yesterday (25,416 in total).
2 pneumonia patients died on September 29, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 231.
