US Ambassador to Uzbekistan sends greetings to Uzbek people on State Language Day

“On behalf of the people of America, I congratulate the people of Uzbekistan on the Uzbek Language Day. I am glad that I have learned the language, though a little bit. I hope that the importance of the Uzbek language will further increase. I call everyone to learn this language to make friends with Uzbek people and read more books in Uzbek to understand the culture and traditions of Uzbekistan,” the diplomat said.

Then he read an excerpt from an Uzbek poem “O’zbekiston”.
