COVID-19 update: Health Ministry reports 359 coronavirus, 9 pneumonia cases
On October 24, 359 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 9 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 183,928 (+359).
Reportedly, 96 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 5 – in Karakalpakstan, 13 – in Andijan, 9 – in Bukhara, 8 – in Jizzakh, 3 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 19 – in Namangan, 35 – in Samarkand, 11 – in Syrdarya, 9 – in Surkhandarya, 24 – in Fergana, 17 – in Khorezm and 107 – in Tashkent region.
2 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,306.
As of October 24, the number of recovered stands at 179,487 (+265).
Also, 6 people tested positive for pneumonia on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases to 27,624.
