Fatal road accident occurs in Kashkadarya

As the press service of the State Traffic Safety Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported, the incident took place on October 17 at 15:40 in the Kamashi district, Kashkadarya region, on the M-39 Tashkent-Termez highway, passing through the territory of the “Yortepa” village.

It became known that a 44-year-old Nexia driver jumped onto the opposite lane, where he collided with a Damas car driven by a 41-year-old man.

As a result of the road accident, both drivers and one passenger of the Damas car died on the spot. Another passenger was hospitalized with serious bodily injuries.

On the above fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 266 (violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation) of the Criminal Code.
