SSS and SCC prevent sale of over 25,000 psychotropic drugs in Tashkent
The State Security Service and the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan, as part of a joint operational event, have prevented the sale of more than 25,000 psychotropic drugs.
Reportedly, on October 26, SSS employees detained citizens who tried to sell 7,504 units of Regapen. Also, at the place of storage, there were 1,650 units of Tropicamide and other types of drugs. They were all seized in a procedural manner.
During another operational event on October 28, 1,310 Tropicamide and 2,100 Regapen were confiscated from three other people in Tashkent.
Currently, an investigation is ongoing, the report said.
