Presidential library to be built in Tashkent
On November 22, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of objects planned for construction in the capital of the country.
According to the press service of the head of state, the Museum of Literature named after Alisher Navoi will be built next to the Alley of Writers. In addition to the museum, the complex will include a research center, an institute of the Uzbek language, literature and folklore, a school and a hostel.
It is also planned to build a presidential library next to the national park of Uzbekistan.
“It is expected that the building will have four floors and simultaneously serve more than 1.4 thousand readers. Along with a fund of 1.5 million books, the library will have electronic literature and multimedia products,” the report reads.
The head of state instructed to use the latest technologies in the construction of these complexes, to create all the conveniences for lovers of reading.
In addition, during the presentation, the project of the Olympic Village was considered.
