Uzbekistan to toughen liability for systematic traffic violations
The Concept of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan was approved by the presidential decree.

In accordance with the Strategy, in the field of ensuring public safety, it is envisaged to implement the following:
- systematic deliberate violators of traffic rules are subject to criminal liability, which provides for a long-term deprivation of the right to drive vehicles;
- for every 5 mahallas, one law enforcement area of the mahalla will be organized on the basis of a standard project;
- in areas with “hotbeds of crime” at night, there will be an uninterrupted activity of automobile patrols, cavalry and infantry patrols, consisting of units of the National Guard.
