It is noted that in 2020 the average daily passenger traffic of the Tashkent metro was 250-300 thousand people, and today the figure reaches 380-420 thousand.

To eliminate the problems, prevent crowds and create convenience for passengers, the State Unitary Enterprise Tashkent Metro has carried out a number of works over the past year. In particular, 15 rolling stock, including 60 modern cars produced by the company “Metrovagonmash” of the Russian Federation were purchased.

In addition, during peak hours, the intervals between trains have been reduced to 3 minutes on the Chilanzar line, to 4 minutes on the Uzbekistan line and to 7 minutes on the Yunusabad line.

In 2022, SUE Tashkent Metro is planning to purchase 14 more units of rolling stock.
