Mirziyoyev, Erdoğan discuss situation in Kazakhstan
On January 6, a telephone conversation took place between Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

As the presidential press service reported, during the meeting, the two leaders discussed the current state and prospects of Uzbek-Turkish strategic partnership and further enhancing cooperation.
They also exchanged views on the situation in Central Asia, in particular on the current situation in Kazakhstan.
It is noted that the Presidents agreed on the need to take all measures aimed at ensuring peace and stability in Kazakhstan.
At the same time, the heads of state called for a peaceful settlement of the situation, stressing the importance of preventing violence and escalation.
It should be reminded that earlier a telephone conversation took place between Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
In addition, Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of Kazakhstan.
