Two natives of Uzbekistan with weapons detained in Almaty
In Almaty, law enforcement officers detained two natives of Uzbekistan, they are suspected of looting.
As the departmental website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Polisia.kz reported, they live in one of the villages of the Almaty region. A criminal case has been initiated against them.
According to the commandant’s office, 26-year-old citizen J. and 22-year-old citizen K. participated in the rallies and the attack on the Tekhnodom and RedPark stores along Raiymbek Avenue. On the square along Satpayev Street, they managed to get hold of a pump-action shotgun with 12-gauge cartridges and a stun grenade.
It also became known that during the arrest, the police seized household appliances, clothes and drinks stolen from the Royal Petrol gas station from the defendants.
The aforementioned fact is under investigation.
