Total registered COVID-19 cases surpass 207 thousand in Uzbekistan
On January 17, 935 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 207,057 (+935).
Reportedly, 466 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 30 – in Karakalpakstan, 23 – in Andijan, 23 – in Bukhara, 32 – in Jizzakh, 18 – in Kashkadarya, 9 – in Navoi, 39 – in Namangan, 57 – in Samarkand, 24 – in Syrdarya, 16 – in Surkhandarya, 26 – in Fergana, 33 – in Khorezm and 134 – in Tashkent region.
4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,522.
As of January 17, the number of recovered stands at 199,872 (+679).
