China and Russia remained Uzbekistan’s main trade partners in 2021 – Statistics Committee
Last year, Russia topped the list of countries with the highest share in Uzbekistan’s imports – $5.5 billion, the State Statistics Committee reported.
China occupied the second position with $4.9 billion and Kazakhstan third with $2.7 billion.
The TOP-10 included:
- South Korea - $1.8 billion;
- Turkey - $1.7 billion;
- Germany - $692.3 million;
- Turkmenistan - $690.6 million;
- Ukraine - $472.4 million;
- India - $461 million;
- Lithuania - $438.3 million.
In addition, during the reporting period, China had the highest share in Uzbekistan’s exports – $2.5 billion.
The figure for other countries looks as follows:
- Russia - $2.1 billion;
- Turkey - $1.7 billion;
- Kazakhstan - $1.2 billion;
- Kyrgyzstan - $791 million;
- Afghanistan - $649.4 million;
- Tajikistan - $501 million;
- Ukraine - $232 million;
- Canada - $200 million;
- Turkmenistan - $191.3 million.
