It is noted that as of 09:30 today, the electricity supply in the country has been restored by 70%. The ministry says measures are being taken to provide social facilities and other consumers with electricity on a priority basis.
“Due to failures, there are cases of disruption of technological processes at existing gas fields and refineries in the country. This, in turn, leads to a decrease in gas production.
In order to ensure a stable supply of electricity to consumers, the produced natural gas will be sent in full to thermal power plants, social facilities and consumers.
In this regard, from today, temporary restrictions will be introduced on the operating hours of gas filling stations. At the same time, natural gas supplies to other non-social entities will be suspended.
The main goal of these measures is, first of all, to ensure the uninterrupted supply of energy resources to the population,” the ministry official said.
