Uzbekistan becomes largest recipient of EBRD funds in Central Asia for second year running

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invested almost $690 million (€607 million) in 22 projects in Uzbekistan in 2021, with the republic becoming the largest recipient of EBRD funds in the region for the second year running, the Bank said in a statement.
