Uzbekistan’s total officially registered COVID-19 cases surpass 220 thousand
On January 28, 1,152 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 220,815 (+1,152).
Reportedly, 462 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 77 – in Karakalpakstan, 33 – in Andijan, 44 – in Bukhara, 36 – in Jizzakh, 31 – in Kashkadarya, 21 – in Navoi, 37 – in Namangan, 52 – in Samarkand, 18 – in Syrdarya, 43 – in Surkhandarya, 125 – in Fergana, 65 – in Khorezm and 108 – in Tashkent region.
4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,558.
As of January 28, the number of recovered stands at 209,780 (+363).
Also, 247 people tested positive for pneumonia on Friday.
