Head of gas supply department detained in Tashkent while accepting a bribe

According to the PGO press service, the head of the Consumer Services Department of the Yashnabad district gas supply department F.Kh. demanded a bribe from citizen B. in exchange for the cancellation of a fine of 4 million soums calculated for the debt on gas consumption in his apartment.

A criminal case under Article 210 (bribery) of the Criminal Code has been initiated. Currently, an investigation is underway.
