Russia issued largest number of work patents to citizens of Uzbekistan in 2021
This follows from the indicators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the migration situation.

More than half of all work patents issued in Russia last year fall on citizens of Uzbekistan. Their number reached 1,316,569.
So, according to the agency, in January-December 2021, 2,221,826 work patents were issued, of which 1,316,569 were issued to citizens of Uzbekistan, almost 787,000 to citizens of Tajikistan, and almost 65,000 to citizens of Azerbaijan. In addition, patents were issued to citizens of Ukraine (37 thousand) and Moldova (17 thousand).
In 2021, the number of issued work patents for migrants in the Russian Federation almost doubled. In addition, the number of issued work permits for foreign citizens also increased last year.
