Uzbek students in Ukraine recommended to continue their studies remotely
Uzbek students studying in Ukraine will be able to continue their studies remotely, the Uzbek embassy in Kiev reported.
According to the embassy, the letters of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1/1266 of January 25 and No. 1/2588−22 of February 15, 2022 recommended the introduction of distance learning in all higher education institutions of Ukraine. All Ukrainian universities have been told that students should not be expelled for any reason other than those who have expressed a desire to leave school independently.
This rule applies to students of all specialties except medicine.
Taking into account the above and the observed interruptions in air travel, Uzbek students were advised to consider the possibility of continuing their studies in their home country online.
Earlier, the Uzbek embassy in Ukraine said it was developing a plan to evacuate Uzbeks, given the escalation of the situation in Ukraine and the imposition of a state of emergency.
