Provinces with highest passenger traffic by road transport announced

In 2021, road transport was dominant in the structure of passenger traffic by mode of transport.

Its share in total passenger traffic was 98.0%, the State Statistics Committee said.

Regions with the highest share in the total volume of passengers transported by road:

- Tashkent city - 19.2%
- Andijan region - 12.4%
- Tashkent region - 11.4%
- Fergana region - 11.1%
- Samarkand region - 7.9%
- Namangan region - 7.9%
- Khorezm region - 7.0%
