Uzbekistan and Qatar express readiness to continue joint efforts to strengthen peace in Afghanistan

Yesterday, on March 11, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

During the talks, the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their development in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed.

The parties exchanged views on the interaction within the framework of international structures.

The readiness of Uzbekistan and Qatar to continue joint efforts to strengthen peace in Afghanistan and restore its socio-economic infrastructure was confirmed.
