Deputy FM of Uzbekistan and State Secretary of the Finnish Foreign Ministry discuss issues of bilateral relations
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov today held talks via videoconference meeting with Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland Kai Jürgen Mikael Sauer.
The current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres were discussed.
Particular attention is paid to deepening cooperation in the educational field by organizing mutual visits of experts, exchange programs for teachers and students.
An exchange of views took place on the implementation of joint investment projects in the areas of innovation, information and communication technologies and the pharmaceutical industry.
Interest was expressed in strengthening cooperation within the framework of multilateral structures.
It should be recalled that on April 19, the newly appointed Ambassador of Finland with residence in Helsinki, Ilkka Räisänen, presented his credentials to the MFA and took up his duties.
