MFA holds a meeting with participation of the head of FPI Service Department
The Foreign Ministry held a videoconference meeting with the Head of the Global and Trans-Regional Threats Department of the European Commission’s Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) Service, Natalie Pauwels, and Sorin Popa, Program Manager of this Service.
During the talks, the parties exchanged views on further cooperation through the EU Centers of Excellence Initiative to reduce the risks of exposure to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear substances and explosives (CBRN-E), and also discussed the main activities planned this year within its framework.
It was noted that the eighth international meeting of national coordinators of this initiative, which will be held on May 17-19 in Brussels, will allow the participating countries to identify new directions for the implementation of promising projects through the CBRN-E.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on maintaining permanent contacts and regular exchange of information.
