Deputies approve amendments to the law on pension provision

Deputies of the Legislative Chamber have approved the bill on amendments to the law “On State Pension Provision”.

According to the document, starting from 2023, the average monthly salary taken into account when calculating the pension for citizens will be set at no more than 12 times the basic pension calculation amount (3,888,000 soums).

As a result, the pension of 352,000 citizens will be recalculated, and the average monthly pension will increase to 400,000 soums.

In particular, it is expected to increase the pensions of 304 thousand old-age pensioners, 25.2 thousand people with disabilities and 23 thousand people who have lost their breadwinners.
