Medieval cultural heritage object demolished in Namangan for building houses
In Namangan, it was found that a unique cultural heritage object of the Middle Ages was destroyed and replaced by a residential building, the PGO press service reported.
It is noted that 0.03 hectares of the Urdatepa archaeological monument located in the Navkent mahalla, Yangikurgan district, was demolished by J.U. and 0.02 hectares - by A.Yu. with the help of special equipment. Instead, they built arbitrarily residential buildings. As a result, it was found that the historical monument was seriously damaged in the amount of 72 billion soums.
According to the results of the investigation, a criminal case has been initiated. Currently, an investigation is underway.
