Uzbekistan, Belarus intend to abolish licensing system of road transport
Uzbekistan and Belarus agreed to work on the abolition of the permit system for international road transport of goods, the press service of the Transport Ministry of Belarus reported following the meeting of the Belarusian-Uzbek mixed commission on international road traffic.
The parties also discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation in the transport sector, determined the number of permits for international transportation for 2022-2023.
In addition, an agreement was reached on the allocation of additional Uzbek permits for Belarusian carriers in the amount of 6,000 “bilateral and transit” and 4,000 “to/from third countries”.
