US extradites citizen of Uzbekistan wanted for grand theft
On August 11, at the Tashkent airport, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers handed over the suspect to Uzbekistan’s Interpol.

The man was detained as a result of joint operational actions conducted by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan and competent authorities of the US.
Reportedly, he committed theft on an especially large scale. He is charged under Article 169, Part 4 of the Criminal Code.
He will be punished in accordance with the legislation of Uzbekistan.
