Power supply interruptions expected in valley regions due to forced shutdown of Turakurgan TPP
Due to damage to the main line of the gas pipeline, there was a forced emergency stop of the Turakurgan power plant.
According to the information of the Ministry of Energy, unidentified persons, who carried out land work without appropriate approval, damaged the main line of the gas pipeline in Namangan region, which provided fuel for the Turakurgan TPP.
This situation led to a forced emergency shutdown of the Turakurgan power plant.
Repair works are underway. Currently, connecting backup capacities for power supply is being carried out.
“In connection with the ongoing work to connect backup units at other power plants in the regions, there may be individual cases of power outages,” the ministry warned.
The case is under investigation.
