Sportsmen who won prizes in Islamic Unity Games to be awarded cash prizes

According to the presidential decision, the winning athletes of the 5th Islamic Unity Games will be awarded $5,000 for each gold medal. $3,000 for a silver medal, $2,000 for a bronze medal.

Winners of the 5th Islamic Unity Games in Konya, Turkey, and their coaches will be awarded with cash prizes.

According to the presidential decree, athletes will be awarded:

• for the gold medal - $5,000;
• for a silver medal - $3,000;
• bronze medal - $2,000;

Coaches who trained prize-winning athletes will be awarded:

• for the gold medal - $2,500;
• for a silver medal - $1,500;
• for the bronze medal - one-time cash prizes in the amount of $1,000. 

Expenditures are made from the reserve fund of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Uzbekistan ranks second after the hosts with 48 gold, 39 silver, and 56 bronze medals. Contest ends today, August 18.
