President strongly condemns violence against women

On August 30, in the capital’s Koksaroy palace, a ceremony was held to reward those who were considered worthy of honorary titles.

Speaking at the beginning of the event, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev touched upon the topics being discussed today.

“Some of the topics discussed by many people today are depressing. Some violence against our wives, dear women, is completely unacceptable. This is an intolerable vice that is not unique to our nation.

Let those who commit such an act remember their mother in the form of a woman. Our wise sisters do not deserve this kind of treatment!” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
