Director of Afghan Railways arrives in Uzbekistan
The parties intend to discuss the project of a transport corridor between Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and China.

According to the press service of the Afghan Railways, the purpose of Bakht ar-Rahman Sharafat’s visit is to work out a project for a transport corridor between Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and China, the idea of which was already discussed a month ago via videoconference.
At the Afghan consulate in Termez, a delegation from the neighboring country met with the director of the educational center for training Afghan citizens, Oybek Ruziev. He gave them the diplomas of Afghans who completed their studies in the railway sector.
Oybek Ruziev assured that he was urging Tashkent to allocate more educational grants for Afghan students.
Representatives from Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and China are expected to discuss “building a new economic corridor.”
