Uzbekistan creates solar-powered devices for quick charging of electric vehicles
High-speed chargers will save more than 11 thousand cubic meters of gas and prevent the release of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
The National Renewable Energy Research Institute implemented a project to create and develop high-speed chargers for electric vehicles using solar energy.
Devices for fast charging of electric vehicles are designed taking into account the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan. They will operate in parallel with the local power grid through solar photovoltaic stations with an energy storage system.
It is noted that each such installed system will generate 32 thousand kW/h of electricity per year, which is enough to charge 950 electric vehicles.
In addition, this will save 11.2 thousand cubic meters of natural gas and prevent the emission of 19.8 tons of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
