“Bringing peace to Afghanistan is the desire of all leaders” - Pakistani FM
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke about the issue of Afghanistan in an interview with journalists on the sidelines of the SCO summit.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari told foreign and Uzbek journalists at the SCO summit that all the leaders present at the summit want peace in Afghanistan and its peace is important for the peace of its neighbors.
“Transit trade is a relationship between my country and your country (to journalists). The main challenge is the prospects for peace and stability in Afghanistan. I think it is the goal of all countries to see a peaceful and stable Afghanistan. It can be seen that all the leaders present here today have this desire,” Zardari said.
According to him, the peace of Afghanistan will open the door of prosperity not only to the Afghan people, but also to the neighboring countries.
“The pressing problem is security, I hope that we will all achieve this goal together, and as soon as such an environment is created, structural projects will be developed in Afghanistan, and then we can discuss them,” the Pakistani Foreign Minister said.
