Deputy Minister of Construction becomes Termez city governor
Uktam Turayev has been appointed governor of the city of Termez. In this post, he replaced Isroil Khudoyberdiyev.
Prior to his appointment, since May 2021, Uktam Turayev served as Deputy Minister of Construction.
In 2017-2019, he was the governor of the Boysun district and in 2019-2021 he headed the Sariosiyo district of the Surkhandarya region.
Isroil Khudoyberdiyev worked as governor of Termez city for about 5 years, since 2017.
