MP suggests distributing training weapons to schools
According to him, with the help of military educational equipment, patriotism will be developed in children.
Member of the Liberal Democratic Party (UzLiDeP), Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Sports Ikboljon Mirzaaliev proposed distributing military training equipment to schools. He spoke about this at a meeting of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis on November 1.
The deputy noted that at present only 3% of schools in the republic have military educational equipment.
“Think about how patriotism will develop in a child who has never held a firearm in his hands. Previously, each school had at least 10 Kalashnikovs. Now in some schools there is no parade ground,” said the deputy.
He also stressed that today’s events in the territory of the post-Soviet republics are relevant – thousands of young people leave their country when partial mobilization is introduced.
“If you want peace, be ready to battle,” said Amir Temur. This conflict [in Ukraine] once again proved that this issue is relevant,” the deputy noted.
