“Uzbekistan should liberalize electricity and natural gas prices” – WB Vice President Anna Bjerde

Speaking at the economic forum in Samarkand, Anna Bjerde listed the painful problems that Uzbekistan needs to solve. The World Bank Vice President said that liberalization of energy prices, avoiding misallocation of resources, reforming state banks and improving the quality of education and healthcare are the most important issues.
