Trade-logistics complex of Wildberries company to be built in Tashkent
The company will provide an opportunity for Uzbek entrepreneurs to register on the marketplace as sellers. The total cost of the project will be $130 million.
On November 8, Deputy PM – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjayev received the founders of the largest international marketplace Wildberries – Vladislav and Tatyana Bakalchuk, the MIFT press service reported.
The parties agreed to create a full-fledged logistics complex of the Wildberries company in Tashkent, as well as a sorting center with a “single window” service for customs and certification authorities to simplify the procedures for registering goods.
The total cost of the project will be $130 million. From the moment the project is put into operation, 5,000 jobs will be created.

The company also expressed its readiness to create conditions for the supply of textile products by Uzbek manufacturers to the marketplace for more than $900 million, leather goods for $121.5 million, building materials for $172.2 million, household electrical products for $382.5 million at the first stage.
It is noted that as part of the implementation of the project, Wildberries will provide the opportunity to register entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan as sellers, online seminars will be held for Uzbek manufacturers in Uzbek and Russian in order to teach the skills of working on an electronic platform and trading.

Along with this, a factory will be launched to create new Uzbek brands, where marketing research and market analysis will be carried out.
