Three people die from carbon monoxide poisoning in Namangan, including a 6-year-old child
The Prosecutor General’s Office told the details of the incident.
On November 20, at about 16:00, a tragedy occurred in the Tinchlik mahalla of the Pop district: two women and a minor child died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning, Uznews.uz writes with reference to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
One of the deceased was only 6 years old. His mother, 51, and grandmother, 75, also died at the scene.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the poisoning was a home-made stove used by residents to heat their homes.
The district prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation into the matter.
