Uzbekistan, Morocco discuss boosting trade relations
On November 23, on the sidelines of the ninth Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations in the Moroccan city of Fes, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Furkat Siddikov met with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
According to the MFA, Nasser Bourita thanked the Uzbek side for participating in the UN Alliance of Civilizations Global Forum in Fes.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and tourism sectors.
It was emphasized that the current volume of trade does not correspond to the existing potential of the two countries.
Other issues of mutual interest were also considered at the talks.
