Man and his underage daughter found dead at home in Samarkand; reason could be CO poisoning
The two members of the family may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning in the Kattakorgan district of Samarkand.
According to the regional prosecutor’s office, the bodies of two people, a man and his daughter, were found in the house they lived in on November 30. There were no visible injuries on the bodies.
According to the preliminary information of the District Forensic Medical Expertise Department, the death of the man and the minor was caused by poisoning of an unknown etiology.
The district prosecutor’s office is investigating the case.
It should be noted that on November 13-15, five people died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Khorezm and Jizzakh regions.
On November 20, a 17-year-old student died as a result of CO poisoning in the city of Karshi, and on November 24, a young couple became the victims of gas poisoning in Fergana region – they were married only for three days.
