Vladimir Norov invites his British counterpart to Uzbekistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov met with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development of Great Britain James Cleverley in Lodz, Poland.
During the conversation, a wide range of issues related to bilateral and international cooperation between the countries were discussed. There was an exchange of views on issues related to activation of inter-parliamentary dialogue, organization of mutual visits of representatives of legislative bodies of the two countries, and exchange of experience in various fields.
The importance of further strengthening trade-economic and investment cooperation, the need to activate the dialogue between the business circles of the two countries was noted within the framework of the 26th meeting of the Uzbekistan-Great Britain Trade and Industry Council held in Tashkent recently.
Both countries have a rich historical heritage, and there are opportunities for deepening cultural and scientific relations on this front. The parties expressed their support for the expansion of relations between scientific and educational institutions, museums and libraries, and the implementation of joint projects in this regard.
The parties agreed to continue regular contacts at various levels in order to identify new areas of cooperation. Vladimir Norov invited his British counterpart to visit Uzbekistan.
