A 13-year-old boy died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Kashkadarya

His 9- and 11-year-old brothers have been hospitalized.

Three children of one family were poisoned by carbon monoxide in the city of Karshi, the Prosecutor General’s Office told Kun.uz.

The incident happened on December 11, 2022, in an apartment in Pakhtazor neighborhood of Karshi city.

The 13-year-old boy and his 9- and 11-year-old brothers were poisoned by gas from the stove in the living room. As a result, the boy born in 2009, died. His brothers were admitted to the district hospital.

It is noted that the city prosecutor’s office is conducting an investigation into the case.

A day before this incident, on December 10, 2022, a 77-year-old woman living in the Dasht neighborhood of Karshi district, her 31-year-old daughter-in-law and her grandson, died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
