Three people killed in a fire in Andijan

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on December 22 at 19:15, the Andijan city emergency department received a message about a fire in a house located on S. Abdullaev Street, Andijan city.

Accordingly, at 19:19, 4 fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene, the fire was localized at 19:23 and extinguished at 19:32.

As a result of the incident, the roof, ceiling and furniture of the house burned down on an area of about 70 square meters.

In the process of extinguishing the fire, rescuers found the corpses of three people – all burnt.

“Officers of the MES, MIA, Health Ministry and the prosecutor’s office also arrived at the scene. The cause of the fire and the amount of material damage are currently being established,” the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that one citizen died, and another was hospitalized as a result of a fire in a house in the Andijan region.
